Work with us
If you make software for small businesses, here’s how to get on our radar, and what’s never for sale.
- Updated
You’re welcome to tell us about your product. You can’t pay for a review, a score, a ranking or a place on a list, and that rule doesn’t bend. Everything below follows from it.
Suggest a tool
Email [email protected] with:
- What the product does and who it’s for.
- Pricing, including any free plan or trial, and a link to your official pricing page.
- Why a freelancer or small team would pick it over the alternatives.
- A contact we can reach to confirm facts.
We can’t review everything, and we choose what to cover based on what our readers need to decide, not on who asked. If we do review your product, we’ll test it like any other: on a real account, on real tasks, scored with the same rubric. You won’t see the review before it’s published.
What we don’t sell
- Reviews, or a promise of coverage.
- Scores, or a higher score.
- Rankings, or a place in a comparison or on a best picks page.
- Placement, such as a spot on the home page or a featured badge.
- A look at a review, or approval of it, before it’s published.
If a fact in a review is wrong, email us with a source and we’ll fix it, as described in our corrections policy. A correction fixes a fact; it isn’t a way to change a verdict.
Sponsored content
We don’t publish sponsored content today. Reviews, comparisons and best picks pages will never be sponsored. If we ever take on a sponsored guide, it will be labeled “Sponsored” at the top of the page and on every link to it, kept separate from our reviews, and it will never include a score or a ranking. Our editorial policy has the full rules.
Affiliate programs
We use affiliate links, mostly through software programs on networks such as Impact.com, and you’re welcome to send details of yours. Joining a program doesn’t change whether we cover a tool or what we say about it, and tools without a program are reviewed the same way. The affiliate disclosure explains how we handle these links.
Advertising
TechKea doesn’t sell ads today. Display ads may come later, once traffic supports them, in clearly marked slots kept apart from reviews. Advertisers will have no say over what we cover or how we score it.
