Corrections

Found a mistake? Tell us, and we’ll fix it and say what changed.

To report an error, email [email protected] with the link to the page and what you think is wrong. We check every report against the vendor’s official pages or by re-testing, and when we’ve got something wrong, we fix it on the page and say so.

Report an error

Email [email protected]. It helps to include:

  • The page URL.
  • What’s wrong, and what you think is right.
  • A link to a source, such as the vendor’s pricing page or help docs, if you have one.

If you work for the company whose product you’re writing about, please say so. Corrections from vendors are welcome, but a correction fixes a fact. It isn’t a way to change a verdict or a score, as our editorial policy explains.

How fast we respond

We reply to error reports within 2 business days. Once we’ve confirmed an error, we fix it and show the correction as described below.

How corrections are shown

When we fix a factual error, we add a short note on the page saying what was wrong and what we changed, and we add a dated entry to the page’s “What changed” log. If the error affected a score or a recommendation, the note says so and the page’s “Updated” date changes.

Small fixes that don’t change the meaning, such as a typo or a broken link, are made without a note. Corrections that changed a fact, a score or a recommendation are also listed in the log below.

Prices change often, so a price that has moved since our last check isn’t treated as an error unless we published it wrong. Every pricing table shows the month we last checked, and How we test explains how we keep reviews current.
